I don't know about you but I love some chinese takeout, it tends to be my go to takeout food after a super busy day of work when I don't feel like cooking.
But what I have found is that I can save some money and eat a healthier choice by making my own chinese takeout.
I am all about stir frying everything! It seems like such an easy way to cook up your favorite stuff.
Tonight's meal was shrimp & broccoli stir fry with brown rice.
First cook up some fresh broccoli with EVOO and minced onions or garlic, whatever spice you choose.
Then mix your shrimp with balsamic vinegar and toss it in to cook together.
Cook up some brown rice in a separate pot.
Put the brown rice on the plate first and top with the shrimp stir fry.
And of course pair with your favorite wine!
Dinner is served!
Don't get me wrong I still love my chinese takeout but when I want a healther alternative and a money saver, this is my choice!
