Week 5 is over!

Today I completed Week 5 of my half marathon training.
If you are just joining my blog, I am doing a 10 week training plan for a half marathon on March 9th, the Alston & Bird Corporate Cup Half Marathon.

Here's a recap of Week 5.

Monday 1/28
Elliptical 45 min (5.21 miles)

Tuesday 1/29
Ran 3.94 miles (41 min)

Wednesday 1/30
Elliptical 45 min (5.30 miles)

Ran 10.04 miles (1:45:24) 
45 pushups for Fit February Pushup Challenge

Total Miles Ran: 13.98

I missed 2 of my scheduled runs: 7 hill repeats & 3 mile easy run.
I had planned to do both of those today but to honest I was just plain exhausted physically, so I decided not to run today.
I also had some housework on the plate this weekend that took alot of my time up.
I plan to get at least 4 days of running in next week including my 12 mile long run!

  2. Missing runs is no fun, but it is probably for the best to listen to your body and mind telling you to take a break. Your week looks great all in all!
